Argentina will probably class themselves as one of this years favourites to win the Fifa world cup, specially having one of the worlds best players in your side like Lionel Messi. Despite that Argentina nearly missed out coming to South Africa needing a win in there last world cup qualifying group game against Uruguay to proceed automatically into the world cup finals. This will be there 15 appearance in the finals with two world cup wins under there belt. Will this year be 3?

Greece –

Manager – Otto Rehhagel

Greece have had only one previous world cup appearance back in 1994 and they didn’t even make it past the group stage in fact they didn’t even score a goal, they will be hoping to do a lot better this time around. It hasn’t been all bad since there last world cup appearance though they won the Euro 2004 shocking the world and there delighted home nation. What would they give to do it all again in this years world cup.

Nigeria –

Manager – Lars Largeback

Nigeria have only had three previous world cup appearances but despite that they have reached the round of last 16 twice in 1990 and 1998. Nigeria will be a tough opponent for the likes of Argentina, Greece and South Korea with the premier league quality players such as Obafemi martins, Nwankwo Kanu, Mikel John Obi and Yakubu Aiyegbeni. I have tipped Nigeria to make the last 16 once again.

South Korea –

Manager – Huh Jung- Moo

South Korea have had seven world cup appearances and by far there best finish was in the 2002 world cup when they hosted it finishing a brilliant fourth place. With players in there side like park ji-sung who is captain who knows where they will finish this time around.
